I wish I could pull an Alana Haim on life and drop out of school to pursue my music dreams and be in a successful band with my sisters but I’m an only child and I have the same talent as a teaspoon.
Wait.. are you saying they took your car away??? Can they do that if you’re an adult?
All I have to say is don’t listen to them. It’s always hard for parents at first. If they aren’t already ok with it when you start. When I got my first visible tattoo my mom told me no man will ever love me because of it. But hey, guess what? Not true. They will eventually get used to them, or stop saying anything about them. I know my mom especially doesn’t like me being covered. But they are apart of me, they aren’t going anywhere.
They can be upset with you all they want. But it’s permanent, it’s your choice, your body. You can’t take it back. They will calm down. They wont stay mad at you forever. There’s no point in thinking about what ifs now. Just own it, and love it like you already do. And just be you.
